LIFE EXPERIENCE PACKED INTO THADEUS PROJECT MUSIC!

Front men guitarists Ted Putbress and Glenn Folwarski of Thadeus Project have been joined at the hip for over 41 years, having been friends since 12 and 13 years old. Though their individual paths have taken different turns from time to time, they’ve remained steadfast musical collaborators.Glen’s lyrics coupled with Ted’s music overlaps in their collaboration of over 34 songs. In the tradition of Lennon and McCartney their work together often instills sadness with hope just as their individual lives reflect the positive effect of Thadeus Project. Though music is the core of their lives, Ted is a successful financial advisor and Glen a marketing landscape specialist. They understand the complexities of today’s living and express this in much of their music which hits a chord in their expanding audience. Both avid guitar collectors, each admits that if their houses ever caught on fire, it would be these items that they would attempt to save, along with a few private items that have sentimental value like wedding rings and old photos. Ted’s musical influences include Mozart, Jimmy Page, and Paul McCartney while Glen lists Pete Townsend and Bob Dylan as inspirations. Still hoping for wider success with Thadeus Project, Ted and Glen are both content with their present lives. Ted has a home in Central Mexico where he loves to go and relax just reading books that he has attempted to get to over the years. Glen refers to his favorite day ever: The first time he golfed, 12 years ago. Today, he tries to repeat this day over and over. When asked what they’d be doing five years from now, both men agreed: “Dealing with life on life’s terms.” And that about sums up the music of Thadeus Project — effectively expressing life on its own terms.

“Let’s Go Today” Takes Thadeus Project Higher on Multi Charts
Band Interviewed by Famous Writer

Los Angeles, CA — As Thadeus Project watches their current single, “Let’s Go Today,” rise higher and higher on multiple charts, the Chicago band was recently interviewed by Ralph Benner, former publisher at the Laufer Publishing Company, who during his years as a celebrity journalist not only determined who made the covers of some of the most sought after Tinseltown publications, but has interviewed such stars as Halle Berry, Natalie Wood, Will Smith, Cher and the “A-List” of celebs goes on and on.

So why has the powerful retired publisher who lives life in “The Hills” interviewing Chicago’s Thadeus Project? “I have been approached to do many articles over the years, and I either turn them down or accept. I am at a point in life where I interview people who interest me and I like their work. When the Independent Music Network approached me about interviewing artists for their online magazine and newsletter, I looked at the list and decided I wanted to find out more about Thadeus Project.”

Currently, Thadeus Project is sitting at #10 on the Mainstream Chart at IMN. On the New Music Weekly Charts which hits on June 13, the popular band is at # 41 on the Hot 100 above such artists as Avril Lavigne, Alicia Keyes and Chris Brown. In fact, Thadeus Project is above several acts Benner has interviewed in the past — Ray J, Mary J Blige and New Kids On The Block.

The NMW issue also shows Thadeus Project at #16 on the AC Top 30 Chart, #25 on the AC Main Chart and on the Top 40 Indie Chart they are sitting at the # 9 position.

“Let’s Go Today,” is the fourth release from the band’s Simple Wisdom CD, which saw the single “Rivertown” hit #1 at New Music Weekly and Independent Music Network Mainstream Chart in late 2007.
