# 1 Again For Thadeus Project’s “Rivertown”

Los Angeles, CA —- For the second week in a row, “Rivertown” by the Chicago-based band Thadeus Project, is # 1 on the AC Top 30 Indie Chart according to the October 26 issue of New Music Weekly Magazine.

“Radio embraced ‘Rivertown’ and Thadeus Project has a # 1 song,” commented Masika Swain, Associate Editor at New Music Weekly Magazine. “Thadeus Project is also nominated for Best New Group/Duo of the Year at the NMW Awards. ‘Rivertown” brought the band a lot of attention. We are looking forward to their next single.”

The new single, ‘Simple Wisdom’ from the CD of the same name, is on the way and will be at radio in November. In the meantime, Thadeus Project is enjoying the moment of having a song at # 1. “We are so happy that people like what we do,” stated Thadeus Project leader Ted Putbress. “We make music for the love of music. For us, it is simply all about the music.”

Thadeus Project is lead by music veterans Ted Putbress and Glenn Folworski, and is a five member band straight out of Chicago. “Rivertown” is the second single release from their Simple Wisdom CD. The first single, “Picture Book,” went top 15 and received massive airplay across the country. Both Putbress and Folworski will be attending the New Music Weekly Awards on November 10 at the Avalon Theater in Hollywood, California.

Los Angeles, CA — According to the Independent Music Network, “Rivertown” by Thadeus Project made IMN Chart history when the popular single hit #3 on the Mainstream Chart and #4 on the Country Chart.

“Looks like Thadeus Project made chart history. I don’t believe we ever had a single go Top 5 on both charts at the same time,” commented Gary Hendrix, CEO of IMN. “I thought ‘Rivertown’ had the potential to go up both charts, but I didn’t know how high. Now we know.”

Thadeus Project Nominated For Top Award

Los Angeles, CA — Thadeus Project has been nominated for a New Music Weekly Award in the AC Best New Group/Duo of the Year category. The annual awards show, which will be held November 10 at the Avalon Theater in Hollywood, California, honors radio stations, music and program directors, along with both major and independent record labels and artists.

“It is an honor to know that our music has touch so many people among all the other fine artist that are out there,” said Ted Putbress of Thadeus Project. Glenn Folworski, also of Thadeus Project, stated: “We want to thank radio, the fans and NMW Magazine for their support. We promise you we have more to come.”

According to the October 5 issue of New Music Weekly Magazine, Thadeus Project’s current single, “Rivertown,” is at the # 3 position on the AC Top Indie Chart. On the AC Main Chart, “Rivertown” is at # 6 above such artists as The Eagles, Colbie Caillat and Michael Buble. The Hot 100 (a compilation of Top 40, AC & Hot AC Formats), Thadeus Project as moved up five positions to # 19 ahead of Justin Timberlake, John Mayer and, again, The Eagles.

According to Ted: “I believe ‘Rivertown’ is a song that everyone can relate to and find a meaning. For me the meaning changed after we experienced a huge storm this summer in Chicago and the streets literally became rivers–mine included.
